During the Corona pandemic lockdown period, the entire country was on a standstill. At that time, when everyone was wondering about the future, Goseva Parivar decided to have a TREE PLANTATION as a competition to boost the moral of young and elderly citizens with respect to nature.
The unique thing about this competition was that we didn't restrict young and elderly within an age group. The competition was for all, the minimum age bar was 7, then teenagers and then people above 25 years of age.
We have about 300 entries which is very encouraging for us as it was for the first time we had held such a drawing competition.
The competition closes on the 15th of June. Participation certificates will be given to all the participants. Another interesting thing was the winner prizes. Instead of giving a hamper or a monetary amount we had a different idea which would create environmental awareness and be unique to our competition. We shall plant a tree on behalf of every participant, similarly 50 trees on behalf of the winner, 25 trees on behalf of the first runner up, and 10 trees on behalf of the second runner up.
To our delight the response was overwhelming. We thank everyone who responded to our attempts and selected Goseva Parivar for this noble cause.
