I am Tapas Singh Roy, son of Shri Pareshnath Singh Roy, living in Mangalkot khand, Nigam gram Panchayat, Burdwan East. I am a small land holder farmer and learnt the technique of Organic Farming from Shri Atish Bannerjee, a Goseva Parivar karyakarta.
For the first time I prepared Gokripa Amrit and Amrit Jal, for use in a portion of my farmland, ie 15 Kathas. I observe my expenses for farming is reduced substantially as there is no requirement of fertiliser, pesticides, insecticides.
I am very impressed with the ease of implementing this process.
Next year I will increase the organic cultivation area.
I am also interested in encouraging other farmers to adopt organic farming.
