Goseva Pariwar has trained a farmer Mantu Das. His farms soils had become very hard and brittle due to the use of regular chemical fertilizers. To soften the soil he had to make canals within his farm where organic fertilizers can come and turtles can enter to make the soil soft.Turtles eat soil and dump their waste in the soil itself. In this way the soil slowly yet steadily becomes more friable and shows good growth. By this scientific use of organic fertilizer the soil has become healthy and fertile. Now he is growing cucumber, bringal, bitter gourd ( karela), bottle gourd (loki) and jhinga. He is successful in growing more vegetables too.
