Last year in June - July, about 40,000 fruit saplings were planted in the land of about 1000 farmers of Keshiyari Block. The plants which included mango, gwava, ber, lemon, pomegranate, jackfruit, etc are being nurtured organically by using fertilizers and pesticides made with gobar and gomutr. It is a pleasure to see the trees growing so well with more than 85% of them in good health. We are hopeful that these trees will contribute significantly to increase in the farmers’ income in the near future.
